Our Story

I’m Doing My Job follows the personal lives of women of color frontline healthcare workers across the US from March 2020 to present day. From pumping between shifts, to managing family expectations, to watching upwards of 60 people die in a single night, these women’s stories shake up the narrative of what a true leader looks like.

MUlticultural influence

Whether it’s having to educate massive multi-generational families on distancing, finding unique ways to celebrate Ramadan, or experiencing dissociation during crisis that is prevalent amongst immigrants, these women bring both tight rationale and deep empathy to the emergency room inspired by their profound roots.
